ICOM International Committee for Museum Security (ICOM ICMS)
ICOM ICMS was founded by the 10th General Assembly of ICOM in June 1974 in Kobehavn, Denmark. The committee plays a leading role in activities throughout its many years of meetings regarding global museum security.
The NPSA is the UK government’s National Technical Authority for physical and personnel protective security. It has absorbed the responsibilities of the Centre for the Protection of National Infastructure, but with a broader remit, reflecting the fact that the threats the UK faces today extend far beyond critical national infastructure.

They provide updates regarding Marytn’s Law, which hopes to see an increase of security presence and protection at large-scale venues and events following the failings at the Manchester Arena attack back in 2017.
