We are delighted to announce the introduction of our new CPD certified – Security Risk Assessment training course to our specialist programmes. This is a 2-day programme that will take place at our main offices in Darlington. The programme has now been added to the Specialist Programmes tab on our website. Following several requests for this programme, we intend to add some course dates to the Training Calendar very soon.
This is an intermediate programme designed to help the participants identify and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of their, or clients assets. The programme helps delegates understand the different threats that exist and how they can manifest themselves. The programme then provides the delegates with skills and knowledge on how to assess and prioritise risks, as well as identify vulnerabilities that may exist. Finally, sensible and pragmatic risk reduction strategies are discussed in order to protect assets (e.g. properties, staff, public, reputation, etc.) through the delivery of layered security and proactive protective measures.
