Door Supervisor Top-Up Training – Lancashire

On Thursday 10th  our Training Development and Delivery Lead, Henry Pattison, delivered our Highfield Accredited Level 2 Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry Course in Lancashire.

This enabled existing Door Supervisors to renew their licences following the changes in legislation from 1st October 2021. Before applying for, or renewing, your licence you must have one of the new qualifications set in place in April 2021, or one of the older licence-linked qualifications and a top-up qualification.

The course content covers terrorist threat awareness in the private security industry, use of equipment relevant to a door supervisor,  and physical intervention. Learners had to demonstrate their understanding of the course content by completing and passing an examination.

If you are interested in becoming an SIA licenced Door Supervisor and do not currently hold an SIA licence, you will need to successfully complete a full 6-day door supervisor course. For further information on which course is more suited to you, visit the SIA website.

Ribby Hall Village is a long-standing client of Trident Manor, and we are happy that the Training Academy can continue this relationship through the delivery of our SIA and specialist programmes.

The team is happy to deliver our programmes from our offices in Darlington, throughout the UK, or internationally. For further information contact Henry on 01325 734850, or via email.
