We are proud to announce our latest accredited driver training programme Level 3 Award in Driver Assessing.
This programme has been specifically designed for organisations dealing with large vehicle fleets, those with a large pool of drivers, or where third-party drivers are used on a casual basis. The skills and abilities to assess the level of competency with other drivers are taught to enable an informed decision to be made about their capabilities and suitability as a driver for the relevant organisation. The purpose and benefits of this programme are to help organisations reduce accidents, minimise disruption, and make the correct selection decisions when hiring or using drivers.
The programme is separated into two units and will be delivered over three days, by RoSPA and Department of Transport accredited instructors who have decades of experience delivering this type of programme nationally and internationally. We pride ourselves on only selecting the best instructors with whom we know will deliver a quality learning experience for delegates.
Our programme has been developed to meet the specific needs of our learners and has been accredited by NCFE demonstrating the quality and rigour. NCFE is an awarding organisation recognised by the qualification regulators for England (Ofqual), Wales (Qualifications Wales) and Northern Ireland (CCEA Regulation).
As with all of our driving programmes we can deliver this programme to delegates locally, nationally, and internationally. Unlike other organisations, we do not falsely advertise this programme as a ‘Train the Trainer’ course, as a driver trainer is a driving instructor, and as such must be qualified by a regulatory body. Andy Davis the Managing Director said, “Having worked globally and seen the carnage that has been caused by poor and dangerous driving it was really important that this programme was developed to help organisations assess and evaluate driving standards before hiring drivers.” He added, “The protection of staff and meeting duty of care obligations should be a consideration of all organisations, engaging a dangerous or untrained driver is a moral and potential legal breach that should not occur.”
