Museum Development Yorkshire – ‘Elevenses’ Presentation

Last week, Andy Davis delivered a presentation as the Key Note speaker for the Museum Development Yorkshire team during their ‘Elevenses’ event.

The presentation on security at cultural venues was delivered to Front of House staff working at over 20 museums across the region. Andy discussed the role of front-of-house staff and the importance of situational awareness they should adopt whilst on duty at cultural venues. Liz Denton, Museum Development Officer has said, ‘your presentation was excellent and delivered in an incredibly knowledgeable, yet accessible manner. Furthermore, a number of delegates commented on how much they had valued the session and highlighted your presentation in the feedback. I know many of them will refer back to it in the future”.

It is always seen as a success in the eyes of our team if our knowledge and services can be used in the future to benefit the operations, safety and security at all types of organisations. We value all our opportunities to provide support to the cultural heritage venues across the UK and plan to continue this in the future.

We would like to thank Liz Denton and Joanne Bartholomew for having Andy as the Key Note speaker for the Museum Development YorkshireElevenses‘ event. We look forward to seeing your future work for the sector. See below the letter of thanks presented by Liz Denton to our managing director, Andy Davis.
