Door Supervisors who are renewing their SIA Licence after 1st October 2021 need to take this course.
Who is this course for?
This programme is for those learners who undertook their door supervisor qualification before the launch of the QCF/SCQF door supervisor qualification. It allows them to meet their mandatory top-up requirements for door supervisors and to retain their SIA licence. It is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning and qualifications.

• Externally set and externally assessed MCQ paper
Qualification
Upon successful completion and passed exam results, you will be awarded the certificate Level 2 Award for Upskilling a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.

Course Topics
• Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry
• Principles of Using Equipment Relevant to Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
• Physical Intervention
The programme consists of a self-study element which will be issued 7 days prior to the course start date and classroom-based theoretical and role play delivery. Once registered a full set of joining instructions will be issued alongside self-study learning materials and further details about the course.
