Trident Manor Training Academy is proud to be one of the first Highfield Accredited Centre in the UK to offer the new Level 2 training programme to the security sector. All new Security Industry Authority (SIA) applications must have undertaken training and qualified under the new syllabus in order to meet regulatory compliance and to operate lawfully.
The training is undertaken at our base in the North East of England by our expert instructors who are highly qualified and renowned for their delivery of licensed security activities within the private security industry in the UK and globally.

About the Security Officer Programme
Since the 1st of April 2021, the SIA has implemented changes to the training requirements for licensed Door Supervisors operating in the UK, private security industry. These changes have resulted in the introduction of new content and additional modules to continue the professionalisation of the security sector.
The objective of this qualification taught over a six-day period is to support a role in the workplace. It is designed for any new entrants to the sector without a previous award/qualification conferring full or partial exemption. Successful learners can apply for SIA Door Supervisor License to work in the security industry.
The programme consists of a self-study element which will be issued within seven days prior to the course start date and classroom-based theoretical and practical delivery over the next six days.
Once registered a full set of joining instructions will be issued alongside self-study learning materials and further regulatory requirements needed for attendance on the course.
